Bleach Souls Plot

Shortly after the capture of Sosuke Aizen, the joint mental capacity of Uruhara Kisuke and Mayuri Kurotsuchi devised a way to remove the Hōgyoku safely without causing the death of the prisoner. It was excruciatingly painful, but this did not matter; to all those concerned, Aizen deserved the pain. Gin Ichimaru, as sly as a fox, was able to trick even his past lover into believing his own death, later managing to retreat back to Las Noches in Hueco Mundo along with the barely living joint commander. Many of the Espada had also managed to cling onto the last strands of life, able to crawl back into Hueco Mundo. Soon a plan was devised of how to remove their Lord Aizen from the grips of soul society’s forces. The plan was… successful.

Meanwhile in the human world Ichigo Kurosaki had been taken under the wing of a group of fullbringers. The leader, Kuugo Ginjo had been the original substitute shinigami, had evil plans that conspired against Ichigo. In the nick of time, Rukia and many of the captains arrive to reinstate his Shinigami powers at the orders of Yamamoto.

The fullbringers with Ginjo retreat back to their base, making another dangerous enemy to be worried about. Aizen plots his return, his ultimate goal remaining the same, but without the Hōgyoku had to devise another way to overthrow the likes of Ichigo Kurosaki. Some of the human and quincys have also begun an alliance between them. Two leaders a representative from each of the races.

2096 years ago, Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto founded the Shinō Academy. Before this a Guard existed but no real training was implemented. At first Yamamoto was the only instructor but the Academy soon grew. The very first graduates of the Academy where a pair of young boys, named Jushiro Ukitake and Shunsui Kyōraku. Who he said showed great potential. Due to their prior training they where instantly implemented into the Guard.

234 years before the current time, Yamamoto founded the Gotei 13. Himself as the Captain Commander and instating Shunsui, Jushiro, Unohana, Ginrei and Kirio Hikifune as well as 8 others as captains of the 13 Divisions. The others either resigned or were promoted into the Royal Guard over the next 100 years. By 110 years ago, the previously stated five where the only ones left of the original captain-ship, however Kirio Hikifune had just been promoted to the Royal guard, leaving just four. (Excluding the Captain commander). The second division captain was Yoruichi Shihōin who had recommended Uruhara Kisuke to fill the spot of 12th division captain, in the 10 short years he was he turned the division permanently into the Research and Development division. There were many other captains who were experimented of along with lieutenants by Aizen turning them into Vizards, Kisuke left soul society with them as he believed he could cure them. Failing this he was able to stabilise them.

After the death of Ginrei Kuchiki the only original captains remaining where Unohana, Shunsui and Jushiro. Aged in that order as well.
